Alltime Finland has secured the competitive tender for the Keitele waterway maintenance area for the years 2025–2030. The total value of the contract is approximately 1 million euros.
The Keitele waterway area includes lakes such as Upper and Lower Keitele, Konnevesi, Sonkari, Iisvesi, Nilakka and Suonenjoki, located in the Central Finland and North Savo regions. These waterways provide an inland route connecting Jyväskylä to Viitasaari in the north, and eastward to Suonenjoki and Pielavesi. The area also includes nine canals with locks.
“Alltime already holds a strong position in maritime safety device maintenance in Finland, with over 60% of the country’s navigation aids under our management. This new contract adds nearly 1,000 kilometres of waterways and around 2,000 new safety devices to our maintenance portfolio. We continue our important work in enabling safe waterborne traffic in close cooperation with the Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency,” says Antti Sappinen, Business Director, waterway maintenance, Alltime Finland.
Alltime’s existing waterway maintenance contracts include regions such as Saimaa, the Gulf of Finland, and Lake Inari.
